Open call for young participants in the YAA 2020 awards jury.

The Hellenic Film Academy, in collaboration with the largest Greek Children’s and Youth Film Festivals (Athens International Children’s Film Festival, Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Youths and CineDoc Kids) invites young cinephiles from all over Greece, ages 12-14, to participate in the selection of the film which will receive the European Young Audience Award 2020! In light of the pandemic, the award process will take place across 40 countries simultaneously, online. The three nominated films (Rocca Changes the World by Katja Benrath from Germany, My Brother Chases Dinosaurs by Stefano Cipani from Italy, My Extraordinary Summer with Tess by Steven Wouterlood from the Netherlands) will be available online, with greek subtitles on 23-25 April via Festival Scope, with access passes excusive to the participants who will cast their online votes on the 26 of April and enjoy the live-streamed awards ceremony.

How to participate: Parents or guardians of 12-14-year-olds who would like to participate in the award should write to us by the 10th of April at info@athicff.com. Please include the full name of your child, date of birth, city of residence and contact info.
