How are film characters born? How do they come to life, moving from the page to the big screen?

In this unique workshop, children take an active role in exploring the characters, plot, and themes of director Nikos Dayandas’ film A Girl Named Dia, which is currently in the funding stage and preparing to enter pre-production! The story follows Dia, a young metalhead from Athens, who ventures into the mountains of Crete in search of the legendary Thunder-Lyre, believing its magical sound can stop her parents’ divorce and bring her family back together.

Through creative exercises and storytelling, participants will discover how an idea can become a screenplay, how a screenplay turns into a film, and how every character carries within them an entire world.

A workshop about the power of imagination, music, and storytelling!
