Animation workshop for children aged 10–12 (no accompanying adult needed)
How many techniques can we use to make an animated film? Anything the imagination can conjure up!
In this workshop, we’ll watch the film Fire in My Pocket (Hungary, 2026) and explore the different techniques used in animation. Then, we’ll design and film our own trailer for the film using a variation of the rotoscoping technique.
Rotoscoping is a film technique in which creators draw or isolate elements over live-action footage, frame by frame.
