Creativity, Critical Viewing and Visual Culture: How the Three C’s Come Together in Education
● For educatorsOnline seminar for Middle School Teachers
How can the classroom become a space of inspiration, imagination, and free thinking?
This seminar explores how creativity, critical viewing, and visual culture can come together through the medium of cinema to enrich and energize the learning experience.
Using an animated short movie from this year’s festival programme as our starting point, we’ll delve into international educational approaches that turn the classroom into a place of «joyful learning» – in the spirit of Nietzsche’s vision: a kind of knowledge that inspires, motivates, and makes room for both imagination and emotion.
Design & Facilitation: Eirini Andriopoulou, Director of the Film Education and Heritage Unit, General Directorate of Greek Cinema
