Deep in the jungle, everything seems to be going as usual—until a lantern lights up at night and throws the animals into chaos. Countless insects can’t resist, are magically attracted to the light, and fall into a strange trance. The unusual commotion awakens a family of bats, and while the large bats use the bright spectacle to hunt, the little bat child rescues a firefly, a fly, and a moth. The next evening, the lantern shines again, and the little bat tries everything to protect the insects from the spell of the dangerous light. She injures herself in the process, but the little animals are immediately on the spot: What luck!
