“Everyone in the Frame” is the annual initiative of the Athens International Children’s Film Festival, aiming to meaningfully include people with disabilities in the audiovisual sector and strengthen their role as creators and professionals.
This year, the initiative features workshops, a masterclass, and public discussions, and is addressed to children, teenagers, families, and industry professionals. Its goal is to foster a culture of equal participation, training, and networking.
-Audio Description Workshop “Everyone in the Frame”
The workshop is free of charge and open to children aged 10 – 12. Participants will learn about the process of audio description, which makes audiovisual experiences accessible to people who are blind or have visual impairments. At the end of the workshop, participants will record their own audio description for a film from the Festival program.

A screening of short films without dialogue, accompanied by audio description. The screening will also feature the work produced during the Audio Description Workshop, followed by a discussion with the workshop participants.
