Dinomite is a good-natured, nerdy nine-year-old with a big penchant for problem-solving inventions who lives in the modern Stone Age town of Fernham. His unconventional best friend is the wild and unruly Lucy – a Stone Age cave girl. Together, the two not only cope with everyday life, which includes encountering extremely eccentric neighbors, carnivorous plants and giant small-brained stomping sauruses, but they are also always there to lend a hand when someone has a dilemma. Dinomite, aided by the high-spirited Lucy tries to solve problems with his unique inventions and out-there ideas, aided by the high-spirited Lucy which usually leads to even bigger problems, often resulting in widespread chaos in the town. But in the end, Dinomite and Lucy’s unusual friendship always prevails, leading to unexpected, highly unusual but satisfying solutions.
