Experiential educational workshop on audio description
for children with and without visual disabilities, aged 10+ years old
How do people who can’t see… watch a film? In this hands-on workshop, we explore Audio Description (AD) — how it brings images to life through sound and makes cinema accessible to everyone. Together, we’ll create our own audio description scripts and record them, discovering how sound can become the “eyes” of the imagination.
Design – Facilitation: Maria Thrasivoulidi – Audio Description professional, liminal Eva Gritzali – AD user with visual disability, member of liminal‘s quality control team
In collaboration with liminal.
