From the Cinematic Experience to the Learning Process:
Using the Outcomes of the REBOOT Project and Best Practices in Film Education
How can educators use cinema as a tool to help students make sense of the contemporary world? This seminar presents key findings and best practices from the European project REBOOT (Reviving, Boosting, Optimising and Transforming European Film Competitiveness), which explores the viewing habits and cinematic preferences of young people across Europe.
Through experience-sharing, practical examples, and creative activities, participants will discover effective ways to integrate cinema into their teaching — fostering students’ critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and intercultural understanding.
